Hello Friends, Nathan here.
You may have seen my recent blog entree From Ayahuasca to Hollywood or my social media update about how I got into composing music for film trailers, thanks to a woman my dad met in the Peruvian Amazon. While this experience profoundly impacted my career, not only do I personally feel called to give back, but the Amazon needs all of our help. Below is a quick summary of the Protecting the Amazon article I did on the Rareform page.
Junglekeepers is doing incredible work to protect this vital rainforest, specifically the Las Piedras River corridor in the Peruvian Amazon. This region, one of the most biodiverse and pristine areas on Earth, faces serious threats from illegal logging, poaching, and gold mining. Junglekeepers' rangers patrol and safeguard nearly 77,000 acres, but their mission requires substantial resources.
Right now, they are raising funds to protect a new area of land, and we at Rareform Audio and Black Sheep Music have contributed $10,000 towards this effort. While they’re close to reaching their goal, our support must go beyond this specific fundraiser to ensure continuous protection for the Amazon.
